To further enhance our transportation network, the expanding SR-840 loop is a mere 5 miles from our new City Hall and developing Town Center.

When completed, 840 will provide both personal & business travelers with easy interstate access to & from our picturesque plateau from nearby sister-cities within Williamson county such as Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Columbia; and of course Metro Nashville / Davidson County & beyond.

Home prices remain some of the lowest within the region, especially when compared to comparable properties in neighboring communities. The Fairview School system is in the Williamson County School District, is one of the Nation's finest! 

Bowie Nature Park, located in Fairview, TN contains a glorious 722 acres of forest, lakes & trails, Bowie is a great place for individuals, couples & families to come and enjoy their time. Bowie Nature Park is located on the edge of the Central Basin and on the western escarpment of the Highland Rim of Middle Tennessee. Each of these physiographic provinces is uniquely different, this allows for an unusual mix of biota. There are specific species of plant life in the park that cannot be found as close as Nashville.

Bicycling, horseback riding, fishing, running, walking and playing aboard the Treehouse Playground can be enjoyed each & every day of the year. The playground area includes picnic tables a sandbox and a walking trail.  The trail circles the playground-allowing mom to walk while keeping an eye on the kids. Bowie Nature Park has an expansive 17 miles of trails which move the traveler through several Eco-Systems to include wetlands, grasslands, pine forest, oak/hickory forest, riparian and lowland bottomland wetlands.

The majority of the trail system is shared by hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Foot traffic trails are located at Lake Van, Upper Lake, and along the Little Turnbull River, and around the Treehouse Playground.   All trails are open to foot traffic. Fishing at any of the six lakes at the park. A valid Tennessee fishing license is required and children under 12 years old must have adult supervision. Picnicking at any of several picnic tables located around Lake Van and the Twin Lakes.
